Updating Team Members' Password or Email

Any team member on your account, whether they are a Dispatcher, 'Both', or Technician, can reset their own password using the "forgot password" button from their login screen.

If one of your team members is unable to do this for any reason, then another user in the role of Dispatcher/Both is able to send the user a password reset email and/or update that user's email address or phone number.


Reset your own Password

Users who login to the app with their cellphone number receive a 4-digit verification code via SMS each time they login, which means they don't need to remember a password! ðŸ¥³

If a user who prefers to login using their email address and a password each time needs to reset their password, they can do this themselves in the mobile or web application, simply by clicking 'Forgot Password' from the login screen.

Send a Password Reset Email

NOTE: Only users with a role of "Dispatcher" or "Both" have access to our web application. A "Dispatcher" or "Both" user must send the reset password email from the web application.

First, the user will click on Settings and then Team from the navigation menu.

Click on the user in need of a password reset and then click Reset Password from the user information panel.

You will be shown a confirmation message, click Send to send the reset email to the user.

A reset password link will be generated and sent to the user's email address. This link will bring the user back to Dispatch and will ask them to create and save their password as well as confirm the password.  


Adding or Editing Another User's Email Address or Mobile Number

Adding or editing the email or cell phone number of another user will require confirmation, meaning the user who is making the update needs to enter either their own password or verify their identity using their phone number to confirm any changes made to another team member. 

The steps are the same to update a user's email address or mobile number.

  1. Click on the user in need of editing
  2. Click Add or Edit for email address or phone number field
  3. Click 'Send Verification Code' or Click 'Confirm with Password'

4. Enter the user's updated email address or phone number

5. Enter the verification code sent to your phone or enter your password confirm the change of email address or phone number.

6. Click 'Change Email' after you've entered your verification info and the updated info for the user.

You'll see a confirmation message that the change has been made!
