Dispatch Mobile App for Technicians

Dispatch has launched the Dispatch Field App, a free mobile app for your field personnel. Dispatch Field is designed only for field technicians, and its fast, lightweight design will cause less frustration and more independence for your team. With consideration that field technicians are moving quickly, Dispatch Field was built with them in mind. Dispatch Field is one of several tools available that help expands your visibility of jobs and work in field from the office while improving your customer’s experience.

Dispatch Field was built for doing work in the field, plain and simple, and we’ve removed the issues and distractions that keep your Technicians from completing their work.

Technicians can view key details about their job, such as customer address, job description, and customer contact information.
Technicians have visibility into their entire day’s schedule, even if or edited changed during the course of the day.

You should only download or use the Dispatch Field App if:

Work is being assigned to you from the office, and you intend to make updates on that work from the field.
You don’t need to accept or schedule work.
You are in the role of Technician in your Dispatch account.
You are not adding jobs via mobile application.

Dispatch Field’s focus is to provide reliability for technicians across Dispatch in order to alleviate the largest pain points we’ve heard from dispatchers. Since Dispatch’s largest user base is field technicians, the Dispatch Field App was built with them in mind to help them in day-to-day work. Be sure to set up automatic app updates in your phone settings to ensure you are using the latest version of Dispatch Field, or periodically check your phone’s app store for the latest update.
