Supported web browsers and mobile platforms
Below are the minimum versions of Operating Systems (OS), Browsers and devices that are supported for using Dispatch.
iOS phones (iPhone) and Android phones (Samsung Galaxy, LG, HTC, Motorola, etc.) are all supported devices. The experience is nearly identical between both operating systems. The minimum required OS versions for both iOS and Android are below:
Apple iOS - version 11.2 (and 2 versions back)
Google Android - version 8.1 (and 2 versions back)
Other smartphone platforms/phones such as Windows Phones, Amazon Fire, or Blackberry are NOT supported and do not have a Dispatch mobile app.
Using the mobile apps on an Android or iOS tablet such as an iPad or Galaxy Tab may work for many actions, but these devices are not officially supported by Dispatch at this time. Anecdotally, some customers have downloaded the mobile app and used it on their devices; however, you may encounter performance issues and other unanticipated difficulties with which our Customer Success team will not be able to assist you.
Dispatch is accessible from just about any browser on any device. However, because of browser/device inconsistencies, it can be near impossible to ensure ideal performance across the entire range of possibilities. Below are the officially supported browsers and versions, along with links to download the newest version of each:
