Supported web browsers and mobile platforms

We want you to have the best experience when working through Dispatch, make sure your browser and mobile device are up to date! Below are the minimum versions of Operating Systems (OS), Browsers and devices that are supported.

Mobile App

Phones 

iOS phones (iPhone) and Android phones (Samsung Galaxy, LG, HTC, Motorola, etc.) are all supported devices. The experience is nearly identical between both operating systems. We recommend always making sure your mobile smartphone devices are running the most up-to-date operating system. As of 7/13/2023 those versions are below. Our mobile apps will perform best running the most up to date OS and up to two versions back:

Apple iOS:

Google Android 

Minimum Version: 7.1.1

Recommended Version: 13.0

NOTE: If your Android phone is below the minimum version required by our mobile apps, you will not receive updates to the Dispatch Mobile Apps

Checking Software Version

iPhone

If you want to check your software version on an iPhone, locate the Settings icon on your phone's main screen, and tap it. Scroll to find the option that says General, select that and find the option that says About. On this page, you will see a section title Software Version.

Android

For Android Devices, open the phone's App Drawer or Menu to view your apps. Locate the Settings icon on your phone's main screen, and tap it. Scroll to find the option that says General. (Depending on your device, there may be a "General" tab toward the top of your screen that you can get to by swiping left or right.) Find and tap About Phone or About Device. You'll find the Android Version under Software.

Other smartphone platforms/phones such as Windows Phones, Amazon Fire, or Blackberry are NOT supported and do not have a Dispatch mobile app.

Tablets

Using the mobile apps on an Android or iOS tablet such as an iPad or Galaxy Tab may work for many actions, but these devices are not officially supported by Dispatch at this time. Anecdotally, some customers have downloaded the mobile app and used it on their devices; however, you may encounter performance issues and other unanticipated difficulties with which our Customer Success team will not be able to assist you.

Web Application

Dispatch is accessible from just about any browser on any device. However, because of browser/device inconsistencies, it can be near impossible to ensure ideal performance across the entire range of possibilities. We do recommend using Google Chrome as your main browser when working in our web platform. Below are the officially supported browsers and versions, along with links to download the newest version of each:

Important: Do you use Internet Explorer? Microsoft's support of IE officially ended on January 31st, 2020. We recommend discontinuing use of IE, and upgrading to Microsoft Edge browser as needed. More details found at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17454/lifecycle-faq-internet-explorer
